AMMON You’re welcome to a jam session on Saturday at McCowin Park in Ammon if you’re a musician or simply enjoy live music.
All of this is a part of National Make Music. According to a news release, the occasion is a celebration of our community and the ability of music to unite us all.
At 11 a.m., it will begin at the gazebo. For the occasion, Chesbro Music Co. and No Limit Guitar Co. have partnered.
Following a conversation with the general manager of No Limit Guitar Co., we decided that both of our stores should participate in one of these events for the benefit of our community. There are many live music events in Idaho Falls, but not many that allow seasoned musicians and up-and-coming artists to just get together and share knowledge in a relaxed, safe, and welcoming setting, according to Katie Jennings of Chesbro Music Co.
According to Make Music online, the festival, which was first observed as the Fête de la Musique in France in 1982, is observed on the same day in over 2,000 places across dozens of nations. 5,304 free concerts were held in 141 U.S. locations on June 21, 2024.

According to Jennings, it is hoped that more live music will be promoted and that the local event will develop and expand throughout the area.
You can use music as a constructive, constructive approach to communicate your feelings and frustrations when you lack the words to do so. She said, “I also love that when you talk about a choir, ensemble, or band, every individual is important and necessary.”
Chesbro Music Co. has existed in downtown Idaho Falls for more than a century, during which time the community and the world have undergone several changes, she told EastIdahoNews.com. She gave an explanation of why such an incident is beneficial.
We’ve discovered that cultivating a musical community may promote constructive social interactions, heal scars, and unite people. Regardless of financial background, we believe that music has a place for everyone, she said. By collaborating with No Limit Guitar Co., we hope to establish a musical community in Idaho Falls where everyone is accepted and feels free to use music as a medium for creative expression.
Bring your instruments and a lawn chair to the gathering, Jennings said. Parking is plentiful. It’s an opportunity to learn new songs and meet new people.
We’ll find a spot for you if you can sing or play an instrument, regardless of how long you’ve been doing it—99 years or just nine minutes! “I said,” she said. I can’t wait. We hope that everyone who wishes to attend will have a good time.
