U.S. Senators Crapo, Risch voice support for Donald Trump’s attack on Iran

(KIVI) Washington, D.C. Jim Risch and Mike Crapo, both Republican U.S. senators from Idaho, have expressed support for Donald Trump’s recent attacks on Iran in the past 48 hours.

The Senate Foreign Relations Committee Chairman, Risch, released a statement reiterating the President’s previous comments regarding Iran’s alleged nuclear aspirations.

Iran cannot possess a nuclear weapon, as President Trump has repeatedly stated. Why? Without a doubt, a global nuclear arms race would start if Iran possessed nuclear weapons. If uncontrolled, this poses a direct threat to the national security of the United States.

Risch continued by saying that this is Israel’s battle, not ours, but that the bold military move will help protect Israel’s future in the face of Iran’s continuous attacks.

The Iranians genuinely wish to exterminate Israel and all Jews worldwide. Those hopes will be dashed by this strike.

“This will not result in a forever war or American boots on the ground in Iran,” he concluded his remarks.

In a similar statement, Mike Crapo said that President Trump has supported his long-standing position that Iran cannot ever possess nuclear weapons and has taken targeted action against the country.

President Trump has maintained his long-held belief that Iran will never possess nuclear weapons and has taken targeted measures against the country. I still stand by President Trump’s bold leadership in defending American national security and our important friend, Israel.

On President Donald Trump’s orders, B2 Stealth Bombers launched a string of bunker-buster bombs on nuclear installations throughout Iran on Saturday.

Donald Trump said on Truth Social on Sunday that the Iranian regime is incapable of making Iran great once more. Why wouldn’t they change the regime? MIGA!
