.

The first event will take place at 12:00 p.m. at the Moscow Public Library in Idaho, followed by a 6:00 p.m. appearance at the Asotin County Library in Clarkston, Washington. Both events are free and open to the public, with books available for purchase and signing.

Out of the Woods

recounts the 2005 Groene family murders in rural Idaho and the abduction of Shasta and her brother Dylan. Nearly two decades later, Groene is telling her story on her own terms, after years of silence and external interpretation from media, therapists, and others.

Attendees will hear directly from Groene and Olsen about her survival, the writing process, and the importance of truth in storytelling.
