POCATELLO Traffic lights are currently out of commission at the junction of Yellowstone Avenue and Oak Street, according to a traffic notice issued by the Pocatello Police Department.
Given that this is one of the busiest crossroads in the city, vehicles are encouraged to steer clear of the area and use alternate routes in order to lessen traffic and delays.
Drivers should approach the intersection with great caution and treat it as a four-way stop until repairs are finished.
It is anticipated that the lights won’t be fixed until approximately 5 p.m., but city workers are on the scene and are attempting to restore functionality as soon as possible.
The traffic signal hasn’t been functioning since 10:30 a.m. today, according to some drivers. There was no explanation provided for the outage.
As new information becomes available, it will be posted on EastIdahoNews.com.
Drivers are urged to exercise patience, remain vigilant, and abide by any temporary traffic control measures or posted signs in the interim.
