Road construction causing significant traffic delays on I-15 near Idaho Falls

Published On:

IDAHO GOES DOWN On Sunday afternoon, there is a traffic jam on Interstate 15 from Idaho Falls to Inkom.

Many witnesses said the traffic jam started at around 1 p.m. Road work and a large number of vehicles heading home from the Fourth of July holiday are the two main causes of the traffic jam, Idaho State Police Lt. Marvin Crain tells EastIdahoNews.com.

Crain expects the wait to be several hours.

It is advised that drivers use caution and, if at all feasible, take an alternate route.
