The investigation into the Kimberly incident is still ongoing, Twin Falls County Prosecutor Grant Loebs informed EastIdahoNews.com. Regarding whether any fresh charges will be brought, he is unable to answer.

Court filings state that a detective from the Kimberly Police Department was called to the 700 block of Center Street East on June 12 in reference to a shooting that had taken place.

Officers on the scene who had spoken to two witnesses were contacted by the detective.

The detective discovered that there was a disagreement between one of the witnesses, B.M., and a man named A.T. who had visited the trailer after concluding his conversation with the two witnesses. A.T. had Wise and another person with him.

Outside the trailer, armed B.M. encountered A.T. and they engaged in combat. Shots were fired as two armed people emerged from the trailer.

Chris Dequintanaroo, one of the people, was shot and subsequently passed away from his wounds.

The person who emerged from the trailer with Dequintanaroo told the detective that he had not shot but had heard three gunshots. The man informed the police that the faces of the three visitors to the trailer bore D1 tattoos.

According to the paperwork, A.T. was arrested along with two other people, including a female who wasn’t involved in the altercation.

A.T. tried to contact B.M. and told the detective that he had a problem with him. When they got outside the trailer, they texted and took pictures of B.M., and B.M. replied, “Come over and see what happens.”

He and Wise drove away after the altercation, but A.T. acknowledged hearing the gunshots and that everyone fled. A.T. had stolen the woman’s vehicle, abandoned it close to Indian Springs, and then walked back to Twin Falls.

When asked where Wise was, the man stated he wasn’t sure, and Wise wasn’t taken into prison with A.T.

A.T. informed the detective that Wise was the shooter and that he was carrying a Taurus handgun. Additionally, he informed the police that Wise had a grudge against the individuals in the trailer.

Later, Wise was caught, and the investigator spoke with him.

Wise reported to the investigator that he witnessed one of the other people brandishing a weapon as they emerged from the trailer armed. According to Wise, he started running.

According to the document, the investigator kept talking to Wise, who subsequently told the detective that he saw one of the people raise their gun and decided to shoot. But he claims he wasn’t trying to hit anyone.

At 8:15 a.m. on June 27, Wise was supposed to appear before Magistrate Judge Thomas Keshaw Jr. for a preliminary hearing. Wise does not currently have any upcoming court dates scheduled.
