IDAHO GOES DOWN Families have been gathering every Independence Day for over thirty years to watch a fireworks show that is unlike any other and pays a moving homage to America’s founders and soldiers who have defended freedom for almost 250 years. The 32nd Annual Melaleuca Freedom Celebration is expected to be the strongest, most spectacular, and most poignant one yet this year!
In a stunning 31-minute show, 18,715 fireworks will light up the night sky over the powerful Snake River on July 4, 2025. According to the quantity of shells fired, this performance is still the biggest fireworks display west of the Mississippi River and is ranked among the top five in the country.
On Friday, July 4, at 10:03 p.m., Snake River Landing in Idaho Falls will host the 32nd Annual Melaleuca Freedom Celebration. Over 200,000 people attend this free fireworks show, which is sponsored and entirely funded by Melaleuca: The Wellness Company. It has grown to become Idaho’s biggest yearly event.

A full day of family-friendly celebrations culminates in the Melaleuca Freedom Celebration. With the Idaho Falls Liberty on Parade starting at 9 a.m., the festivities continue with Riverfest, a lively event along the Snake River that offers local flavor, cuisine, and entertainment.

Traffic and Parking Plan
