June 29
Rigby
A fireworks display will begin at night, and there will be food and craft vendors, music, and an all-day Rigby’s Freedom Celebration at Jefferson County Lake.
Blackfoot
Jensen Grove Park’s Celebrate Blackfoot Liberty Firework Celebration will begin at 10 a.m. and feature live entertainment, food, and a fireworks display timed to WOLF 96.1 & 102.1.
July 3
Ammon
The day before the Fourth, McCowin Park will host the Ammon fireworks display. At 10 p.m., fireworks will start. All evening, a number of food vendors will be present at the event.
July 4
Idaho Falls
Tautphaus Park will host the 20th annual Firecracker 5k at 7:15 a.m. Registration is still available, but costs will go up after Friday.
The annual Liberty on Parade in Idaho Falls will begin at 9 a.m. At the intersection of 4th Street and South Holmes Avenue, the parade route begins at Idaho Falls High School. It then travels west on 4th Street, turns south on South Boulevard, and ends at South Boulevard and Rogers Street.
At the Snake River Landing, Riverfest will open at 11:30 a.m. and feature live music, food vendors, arts and crafts, helicopter rides via EastIdahoNews.com, and more. Additionally, EastIdahoNews.com will be available for rides on our news helicopter all day long!
A spectacular fireworks display including over 18,000 shells fired over the Snake River will kick off the Malaleuca Freedom Celebration at 10 p.m.
Pocatello
Beginning on the east side of Downtown at 9:30 a.m., the Pocatello Independence Day Parade will make its way to Main Street. The well-known Budweiser Clydesdales will march in the parade.
Later, at 10 p.m., the Bannock County Event Center will host the firework display for the Annual Bannock County Independence Day Celebration.
Rexburg
At 10 a.m., Rexburg will host its yearly Fourth of July parade. Madison Avenue and First North will mark the beginning of the parade, which will conclude at Fourth South and Second West.
Porter Park will also host Rexburg’s Party in the Park. There will be food trucks, live music and dancing, vendors, and more throughout the all-day event.
At 10 p.m., Rexburg will host its fireworks display at Teton Lakes Golf Course and Riverside Park.
American Falls
From 2 p.m. to 10 p.m., there will be a Music in the Park Independence Day Celebration. Live music, fireworks, crafters, a bouncy house, and a beer garden are all planned for the occasion.
Ashton
At 10 a.m., the Ashton parade will begin on Main Street. Following the procession, City Park will host entertainment, a car show, and exhibitors. At 10 p.m., North Fremont High School will have fireworks.
Additionally, Ashton’s Rock the Block celebration will take place at the intersection of Fifth and Fremont Street from 2:00 to 10:00 p.m. Before a fireworks display concludes the celebration, there will be live music, food trucks, vendors, and a beer garden.
Menan
At 7:30 a.m., the flag will be raised to kick off Menan’s packed day of events. A 3-on-3 basketball competition, breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m., a car display at 9 a.m., and the parade at 11 a.m. are all planned for the day. Fireworks will be lit at night to round off the festivities.
Malad
The day will begin with a fun run in Malad at 6 a.m., and then there will be a pancake meal from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Following the procession, which is scheduled for 10 a.m., Malad City Park will host events and activities. At 10 p.m., the fireworks display is scheduled to begin.
Victor/Driggs
At 10 a.m., the Victor procession will begin on Main Street. The Teton County Fairgrounds in Driggs will host a Fourth of July rodeo from 8 to 10 p.m.
