The news release from Idaho State Police is as follows.
CASSIA COUNTY A tragic crash that happened Tuesday morning at mile marker 57.3 on Idaho Highway 25 in Cassia County, southwest of Rupert, is being investigated by Idaho State Police.
On State Highway 25, a male juvenile from Rupert was riding north on a 2006 Yamaha YZFR6 motorcycle when he lost control of a curve. The young person was flung from the motorcycle when it veered off the road. The youngster had on a helmet.
On the spot, the young person passed away from his wounds.
Cassia County Coroner, Minidoka EMS, and Minidoka County Sheriff all provided assistance to Idaho State Police.
Idaho State Police are still investigating this event.
