BRUNEAU, Idaho Notice to recreational users: Due to facility upgrades, the docks on the north side of Idaho Power’s Loveridge Bridge recreation access at C.J. Strike Reservoir will be blocked for the next two weeks.

The south side of the bridge still has access to the river, parking lot, and restrooms.

Last year, North Park saw the installation of floating docks, and by the end of August, new docks in the Narrows will be finished.

Watch as Idaho Power works to make C.J. Strike Reservoir more accessible.

The new floating docks are designed to better withstand the reservoir’s fluctuating water levels and the frequent waves caused by windy conditions, according to Idaho Power.

One of the most well-liked boating and fishing spots in southern Idaho is C.J. Strike. Highways 51 and 67 both lead to the reservoir, which is southwest of Mountain Home.
