For the Caldwell Night Rodeo (CNR), the Idaho Second Amendment Alliance (ISAA) opposes the prohibition of “weapons.”

Gun rights organization group “called out” the CNR in a recent news release, claiming that the policy “undermines the rights of law-abiding Idahoans and jeopardizes public safety.”

Greg Pruett, President of ISAA, said, “We are calling on the Caldwell Night Rodeo and other events throughout the state to reevaluate these misguided policies and stand with the people, not against them.”

“Weapons, laser pointers” are prohibited on the Caldwell Night Rodeo grounds for the “safety and comfort” of visitors, according to the rodeo’s website.

Supporters are being urged by the ISAA to “respectfully voice their concerns to event organizers and local officials.”
