Former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has dinner with singer Katy Perry in Montreal

This week, Katy Perry and former Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau sat down to dine in Montreal.
The musician and the former prime minister spent almost two hours at the upscale eatery on Monday night, according to a communications consultant for Le Violon on Tuesday. TMZ’s photos of the meeting raised rumors of a developing affair.
Samantha Jin claimed that the couple remained private and that neither the employees nor other customers asked to take their picture. According to her, we had the impression that they were a little more laid back.
There were no visible signals of PDA or anything else, Jin continued, adding that there was no sense of romanticism in the air.
TMZ was the first to report on the dinner, posting a video of Trudeau and Perry having a lively conversation at the restaurant.
Perry is now on tour and will arrive in Ottawa on Tuesday, Montreal on Wednesday, Quebec City on Friday, and Toronto again next week. Perry recently broke up with longtime partner Orlando Bloom.
In 2023, Trudeau and his ex-wife Sophie Goire called it quits.
Jin claimed that security observed the dinner from the bar as the two dined on a chef’s menu that included lamb for their main course and a variety of appetizers like tuna, beef tartare, lobster, and asparagus.
Jin stated They went inside the kitchen to thank the staff before leaving, and Chef Danny Smiles stopped by their table to say hi.
A request for comment was not immediately answered by a Trudeau spokesman.
Perry’s spokesperson did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
After almost ten years in office, Trudeau announced his departure earlier this year. Prior to becoming prime minister, his father, the late Prime Minister Pierre Trudeau, was unmarried. While in government, he married a 22-year-old woman at the age of 51 and dated stars Kim Cattrall and Barbra Streisand.
Perry is a 13-time Grammy Award nominee who was born and reared in California. Her campy, huge, booming songs made her one of the best-selling musicians of all time, helping to usher in the 00s pop sound. 2010’s sugar-sweet Teenage Dream is the most notable of her seven studio albums. The record set by Michael Jackson’s 1987 album Bad was tied by the album’s five No. 1s.
