Clarkston, Washington The two individuals discovered deceased Saturday night in a house in the 1200 block of Boston Street have been identified by the Asotin County Sheriff’s Office as Sergio Hernandez, 37, and Eliza Elias, 32.
Investigators say Hernandez shot Elias multiple times before killing himself. Along with Elias’s grandmother and their two small children, the couple resided in the house. The grandma and kids, who were in another area of the house at the time, were unharmed, according to deputies. At the scene, the gun that was used in the event was found. Authorities verified that there were no additional people involved.
Elias is the mother of two children, ages one and three, according to family members. Their great-grandparents are currently caring for the kids.
A GoFundMesk fundraiser aims to assist with the cost of the funeral, housecleaning, and child care. Kurt Spiegel, the organizer, noted that all proceeds will go directly to their great-grandparent, Brian Spiegel, to help with Eliana and Elio’s immediate needs and care. Although Brian and Nemi are making every effort to provide for the kids, the financial strain is too much to bear.
