Clarkston Teen Arrested for Felony Malicious Injury to Property

Lewiston, Idaho After an incident that damaged a Lewiston business’s front door to the tune of an estimated $5,000, a Clarkston juvenile has been charged with felony malicious injury to property.

Court filings state that on August 9, Lewiston Police Department officers were called to the Big Smoke Store on 18th Street in response to a reported alarm. Officers on the scene discovered that the double front door’s right side was broken.

Another person was allegedly observed approaching the front door in security footage that police watched. Noah E. Wall, 18, was then allegedly seen throwing a smaller rock and then a larger rock through the glass, shattering it. Wall informed police that the two went to Big Smoke with the intention of stealing alcohol, according to the records. After shattering the door, the two allegedly ran away and did not go inside the store.

Later, Wall was found, arrested, and sent to the Nez Perce County Jail. One count of felony malicious harm to property was the charge against him. On Monday afternoon, Wall is anticipated to appear in court for the first time.
