Chukars open homestand with loss to Ogden Raptors

IDAHO GOES DOWN Tuesday night, the Ogden Raptors defeated the Chukars 10–2 after hammering off 17 hits.

Raptors starter Chase Chatman earned the victory by striking out six in seven innings, holding Idaho Falls, coming off a series against Boise, to just five hits.

Both Tyler Wyatt and Simon Baumgardt scored runs for the Chukars.

Idaho Falls suffered its second consecutive defeat, dropping the Chukars to a half-game behind Missoula for the Pioneer League championship.

Melaleuca Field will host the series’ next game on Wednesday at 7:05 p.m.
