The release date for the first half of Bryson Tiller’s next two-part album, Solace & The Vices, has been revealed.Although Tiller hasn’t released the project’s tracklist, he hinted that fans can anticipate about 20 tracks across the double album.

In an Instagram video, Tiller stated, “Part one of my double album drops on August 8. Baby, welcome to Vice City!Tiller claims that the project will have a strong rap component and not necessarily fall under one genre: I made the decision to give up all of my vices with The Vices in order to show myself that I could have fun without using drugs, alcohol, or any other kind of antics. Since then, I have remained sober. Charlie Heat, Teddy Walton, Hitmaka, and Gravez (who previously worked on Tiller’s 502 Come Up and Sorrows) are among the producers of the album, according to a press release.

Tiller went on to describe the new initiative on Instagram, writing,I can’t resist doing both on every song, so it’s difficult to categorize one as a rap album and the other as R&B. Please be aware that this is a REAL double album, not just a collection of the 20+ songs I wanted to offer. My main objective when creating Solace was to use it as therapy, express exactly what was on my mind, and find solace in my darkest moments. It was satisfying. With The Vices, I made the decision to entirely give up my vices and show myself that I could have fun without using drugs, alcohol, or any other kind of nonsense. Since then, I have remained sober. I’m still trying to find out how to appear as like I enjoy going to the club, though.

Tiller will also accompany Chris Brown on his Breezy Bowl XX Stadium World Tour’s North American leg, with assistance from Summer Walker and Jhen Aiko on a few dates.
