The scheduling of two huge events on the same night is already problematic, and it may force live music lovers to make a difficult decision.
However, both shows end up being canceled as well? Within less than a week?
Idaho recently experienced that.
Due to a protracted healing period following an unanticipated dental surgery, Ray LaMontagne’s whole 2025 North America Trouble 20th Anniversary Tour with The Weather Station was postponed until next year, fans learned Tuesday morning.
One noteworthy exception? The Morrison Center’s August 23 date has been completely canceled.
This comes only a few days after Big Head Todd and the Monsters declared that their August 23 show in Garden City with Bill Murray and His Blood Brothers will also be canceled. The Revolution Concert House was the intended venue for that co-headlining performance. There was no explanation given as to why the ax fell on that one.
The good news is that both events will receive refunds.
The even better news is that two more major touring performances are still planned for the Boise area on August 23. (Or wait—there are more options! Is that terrible news?
Riley Green, a country music artist, will perform at the Ford Idaho Center Amphitheater in Nampa. Additionally, Boise’s Knitting Factory is scheduled to feature soft-rock band Five For Fighting as its main act.
