The city of Roberts has issued the news release that follows.
ROBERTS Following confirmation from accredited laboratory testing, the City of Roberts is happy to inform that the June 19 Do Not Drink/Do Not Boil Water Advisory has been formally withdrawn as of Saturday.
Following a brief reduction of water pressure brought on by a power outage and a backup generator fault, the advice was issued as a precaution. The quality of the water was never affected. To guarantee residents’ continuous safety, the advise was issued in compliance with public health norms due to the loss of pressure.

The municipal water supply is safe for drinking, cooking, and bathing, according to recent test results. All state and federal safety regulations have been met by the improved water quality.
Staff members and city authorities have put in a lot of effort to find and fix the problem that prompted the recommendation. The public can now begin using water on a regular basis as water system operations have restored to normal.
What Residents Should Do Now:
- Run cold water taps for a few minutes to flush household pipes.
- Discard any ice made during the advisory.
- Replace water filters as recommended by the manufacturer.
