Heather Wheeler’s love language is giving, and she runs a company that specializes on giving gifts to people.

In 2022, the Blackfoot woman, 29, founded Basket Blondie. It offers carefully chosen gift baskets for any person or event, including birthdays, holidays, new mothers, family members who have lost a loved one, or simply to cheer someone up who needs some love.

Wheeler creates the basket from her house, and customers choose the theme and items they choose. She ships or delivers them all over eastern Idaho.

She has gained dozens of loyal customers over the past three years, and she enjoys helping to share a little love.

“My love language is giving gifts,” Wheeler told EastIdahoNews.com. You can give for almost anything, and it’s a method for individuals to express themselves without saying too much.

Wheeler welcomes customers who are excited about a gift they wish to offer and is happy to assist them in assembling it.

Rett Nelson of EastIdahoNews.com created a gift basket Wheeler for the website.

Wheeler says her mother regularly gave gift baskets to friends and neighbors, which is how she received her love of giving.

While searching for a present for a buddy a few years back, Wheeler had the idea for the company.

I created her a gift basket and sent it off because she was expecting a baby. “That’s actually a good idea (for a business),” my husband said. I created some and gave them as gifts to other pals. “That’s where it began,” Wheeler explains.

In the future, Wheeler hopes to open a store where clients may assemble gift baskets in Blackfoot or Idaho Falls.

Visit Wheeler’s Facebook and Instagram sites to place an order or find out more. Her direct phone number is (208) 680-6846.
