IDAHO GOES DOWN The winners of the grand prize-winning rock in a Bodifi-sponsored scavenger hunt are Austin and Zoe Prestwich.
After discovering the rock during the company’s fifth annual rock hunt, the Ammon couple received a $15,000 award. After searching for it for over a week, they finally located it on June 21 at 10:30 a.m. in Rexburg, close to Albertson’s.
“It was along the river, behind some offices,” Zoe told EastIdahoNews.com. It was hidden beneath a tree limb.
In eastern Idaho, it was one of four rocks that were concealed. The value of each rock changed based on whether participants were in a group or alone, and if they were sporting the official Bodifi rock hunt t-shirt.

On June 11, the rock quest got underway. That day, a couple on Bodifi’s Facebook page who went by the names Tanner and Aubrey discovered the first little rock near Beaver Dick Park, west of Rexburg. Because they were wearing the shirt, they were awarded the entire $1,500.
On June 12, Whitney and Nicole discovered the second little rock at Idaho Falls’ Reinhart Park. On June 14, Tanner and Bailey discovered the third little rock in Rigby South Park.
On Monday, June 16, the search for the fourth big rock began. The Prestwich family had previously taken part in the hunt and had twice been awarded monetary prizes for locating small rocks. The pair won $5,000 in a different treasure hunt that Anderson Hicks Group sponsored in 2022.
At first, the Prestwich family believed that the rock that was the main prize in Bodifi’s fifth annual hunt was concealed within Idaho Falls’ greenbelt. The rock was still missing by Friday.
Austin claims that he didn’t decide it was in Rexburg until Friday. We prepared to leave on Saturday morning and arrived to the Teton River at 8 a.m. when the first clue was revealed.
On June 21, the last day of the quest, Bodifi sent out a clue every hour. According to Austin, there were a hundred other individuals around that day, and at one point he thought about giving up.
He called me five minutes before he found it to tell me that people were searching for this rock in droves. It’s too wild for me, so I might as well simply go back to the car and give up, he remarked. “Zoe says.”
Austin called his wife five minutes later to let her know he had located it.
In retrospect, Austin admits, “I was shocked.” It wasn’t as hidden as I thought. I peered down and discovered the directions on the last clue we had, which was beneath the branch.
Although they haven’t made up their minds, Austin says they are thinking of utilizing the funds to complete their home’s basement.

The Prestwichs have relished the opportunity to venture outdoors with their two children and discover parts of eastern Idaho that they otherwise would not have visited.
They are appreciative of Bodifi for giving families an enjoyable activity to partake in.
As long as they are allowed, they intend to take part in the hunt the next year.
Marketing director Ethan Pabst congratulates the couple in a video that was uploaded on Bodifi’s Facebook page. He thanks everyone who took part and adds they can’t wait for the search the next year.
