Corks for a Cause Returns August 28 to Support YWCA Lewiston-Clarkston

Lewiston, Idaho On Thursday, August 28, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., Lindsay Creek Vineyards will present Corks for a Cause, an end-of-summer fundraising event organized by the YWCA Lewiston-Clarkston.

There will be lawn activities, a silent auction, live music by JR Lecuesta, and a selection of food and beverages, such as wine, beer, seltzer, and non-alcoholic drinks. 10% of all food and drink sales at the event will be donated by Lindsay Creek Vineyards to YWCA programs, which offer assistance, advocacy, and shelter to women and families impacted by sexual assault and domestic abuse.

Spa packages, homemade pastries, a Stephen Lyman framed portrait, a Wine Barrel Tasting for ten, and other goods will be up for silent auction. The YWCA will get all of the auction’s revenues.

Victoria Scalise, Director of Development and Engagement at YWCA, stated that this event unites the community to provide essential services for people in need. The event’s proceeds will contribute to the safety and stability of survivors in our area.

“We appreciate the community’s support through events like Corks for a Cause,” said Mollie Mustoe, president of the YWCA board. It enables us to deliver essential services to the people who require them the most.

The public is welcome to attend the program for free.
