On social media, Millie Bobby Brown and her spouse, Jake Bongiovian, announced the adoption of their first child.

In a combined Instagram post on Thursday, Brown, 21, and Bongiovi, 23, wrote: We adopted our lovely baby girl this summer. We can’t wait to start this lovely next chapter of motherhood in solitude and tranquility. Then there were three. Love Jake and Millie Bongiovi

The pair got married in May 2024 after dating since 2021. In September 2024, a bigger party was held in Tuscany, Italy, and was presided over by Matthew Modine, who costarred with Brown on Stranger Things.

Brown mentioned earlier this year that she and her husband wanted to conceive a family when she appeared on the SmartLess podcast in March. Jake is aware of my importance. Naturally, I want to concentrate on making a name for myself as an actor and producer, but I also think it’s crucial to create a family. It’s a big deal. My issue was that I truly wanted a family, but Jake’s was that we couldn’t do that until we were married. A large family is what I truly desire. There are four of us. He is one of four. Therefore, it is undoubtedly in our future. However, I don’t think adopting a child and having your own child are all that different.

Brown continued, “It’s been my thing since before I met Jake.” Her parents had their first kid at the ages of 21 and 19, respectively, and she has always wished to follow in their footsteps. I’ve been telling my mom about baby dolls since I was a baby. I want to be a mother in the same manner that my mother was to me.
