The guy who fired 180 rounds into the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) headquarters in Atlanta did so to convey a message, according to investigators.

Georgia Bureau of Investigation Director Chris Hosey stated, “A search warrant executed at the shooter’s residence revealed written documentation that expressed the shooter’s discontent with the COVID-19 vaccinations.”

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT | A shooting near Atlanta’s CDC and Emory University has resulted in the deaths of a police officer and a suspected shooter.

Patrick Joseph White, 30, was the gunman who broke into his father’s locked weapons safe to obtain the long rifle used in the assault.

Before White drove across the street to a CVS drugstore, CDC security officers stopped him. One responding cop was killed in the shooting.

More than 500 shot casings were found at the location by the authorities. Investigators also revealed that White had recently voiced suicidal thoughts, confirming that he used the same firearm to end his own life not long after the incident.

“A total of five firearms along with other evidence has been recovered from the scene and will be submitted for further forensic testing,” Hosey stated. “Close to 200 rounds impacted six of the CDC buildings.”

“It was a mixture, I believe, of I know rifles, a shotgun, and maybe a handgun,” he continued. “I’m not really certain about that. I think that a long gun rifle accounted for the majority of the shell casings that were found.
