WSU Athletics Unveils Fan Experience Upgrades for 2025 Cougar Football Season

PULLMAN, WA –

Washington State University Athletics has announced a lineup of new fan engagement opportunities and themed events for the 2025 Cougar Football season, aimed at enhancing the game day experience in Pullman.

The announcement includes the release of the 2025 Football Theme Game schedule and several new attractions such as

Camping With The Cougs

, movie nights, concerts, and race events.

“We have listened to our fans and worked diligently to enhance the entire Cougar Football Weekend experience,” said WSU Director of Athletics Anne McCoy. “We are excited to welcome Cougar Nation back to Pullman.”

Theme Game Highlights

Each home game at Gesa Field will feature a unique theme:


  • Aug. 30 vs. Idaho (7 p.m.)



    Camping With The Cougs

  • Sept. 6 vs. San Diego State (7:15 p.m.)



    Homecoming / WAZZU Game

  • Sept. 20 vs. Washington (4:30 or 5 p.m.)



    Apple Cup / Stripe The Stadium

  • Oct. 25 vs. Toledo (12:30 p.m.)



    Family Weekend

  • Nov. 15 vs. Louisiana Tech (7 p.m.)



    Military & Native American Appreciation

  • Nov. 29 vs. Oregon State (3:30 p.m.)



    Senior Day

Special Events


  • Camping With The Cougs

    : In response to limited lodging in the area, WSU will offer 97 camping spots for $250 (two-night stay required) near Mooberry Track and Grimes Way for the Idaho game weekend.

  • Movie Night on Gesa Field

    : A free movie screening on August 29 will let fans vote on the featured film via WSU’s social media channels.

  • Wyatt Flores Concert

    : Country artist Wyatt Flores will perform on Sept. 5 on Rogers Field, with tickets priced at $27 for general admission and $12 for students. The event includes a pep rally and autograph sessions with student-athletes.

  • Tailgate Trot

    : A 5k/10k race will take place the morning of Nov. 15 before the Louisiana Tech game, followed by Cougar Volleyball and football events.

  • Sunrise Yoga

    : Weather permitting, Gesa Field will host yoga sessions on the mornings of the first three home games.

Digital Fan Engagement

WSU is also partnering with WIT, a digital platform designed to increase interactivity during game weekends with fan polls, trivia, and contests integrated across Gesa Field and WSU’s digital channels.

Single-game ticket sales begin July 21 for CAF members and July 23 for the general public.
