MONTEVIEW Two adolescents from Jefferson County have gone missing, and there is now a reward for their safe return.

The last known locations of 13-year-old Allen Larand Fischer and 15-year-old Rachelle Leray Fischer were their Monteview residence on Sunday night. Elizabeth Roundy, their mother, told EastIdahoNews.com that the children vanished while she was at a Bible class between 6 and 8 p.m.

A nationwide student advocacy and violence prevention organization called the Uvalde Foundation For Kids said Wednesday night that it is providing a reward of up to $5,000 for information that directly results in the kids’ return.

I’m really worried. After her teenagers disappear, the mother expresses her fears.

Roundy thinks her children were kidnapped by members of the Fundamentalist Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including Rachelle’s older brothers and Allen.

The Uvalde Foundation For Kids’ founder and national director, Daniel Chapin, has dealt with religious extremist organizations before. He was eventually saved by friends and family after being taken into the Twelve Tribes Cult in Chattanooga, Tennessee, when he was a teenager.

“This case resonates with me on a fundamental and personal level,” Chapin stated in a press statement. We believe that the reason these two young people went missing was a particular, mysterious type of psychological assault. We will do all in our power to find and safely return them home since we think they have been kidnapped by this extremely dangerous religious sect.

Tips have been coming in from all over the nation since Monday, when missing Amber Alert was issued for Allen and Rachelle.

The last time we saw Rachelle, she was wearing a dark green prairie dress with her hair braided. She has brown hair and blue eyes. Allen, who has sandy blonde hair and blue eyes, was dressed in a light blue shirt, blue pants, and black Croc-like slip-on shoes.

Please contact the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office at (208) 745-9210 if you know where they are.
