DAHO GOES DOWN The Raptors won 9–6 despite the Chukars having a 5-0 lead in their game against Ogden on Wednesday.

In the last three innings, the Raptors scored eight runs, ending the Chukars’ three-game losing streak and dropping Idaho Falls to a half-game behind the Oakland Ballers and Missoula Paddleheads in the Pioneer League standings.

The Chukars’ bullpen was unable to sustain the advantage despite Nathan Hemmerling’s impressive start, as he allowed just one run in six innings pitched.

Idaho Falls took an early lead thanks to a grand slam from third baseman Simon Baumgardt in the third inning, but the Raptors rallied and Elliot Good’s two-run homer in the eighth gave Ogden a 6-5 lead.

The Raptors (13–13) added three runs in the top of the ninth to win the game, although the Chukars (17–8) did tie it in the bottom of the inning.

At 7:05 p.m. on Thursday, the series resumes.
