Both Madison shortstop Alex Ramos and Highland catcher Cannon Eddie were selected to the 6A All-State baseball first team, representing Eastern Idaho.
A junior who has started each of the three seasons, Eddie hit.456 with 28 RBIs and six home runs. Along with leading the Rams in triples (five), doubles (13), and slugging (0.911), he also had a 0.989 fielding percentage. He received the Player of the Year award for 6A District 4-5-6.
Ramos, a sophomore, scored 45 runs and hit.443 with six home runs and 31 RBIs.
Tanner Johnson, a designated hitter and first baseman for Madison, and Kace Stapleton, a pitcher and utility player for Rigby, were selected to the second team.
