Whoopee Days Rodeo returning for its 96th year at Madison County Fairgrounds

REXBURG The annual Whoopee Days Rodeo is being prepared by the Madison County Fair Board.

The famed Cashcow will be among the many events scheduled for the three-day event, which will take place at the Madison County Fairgrounds on June 26–28.

The cows are sent away when we have paid for them. According to Brett Bagley, a member of the Madison County Fair Board, people of all ages can come out and perhaps make some money off these cows.

Apart from the Cashcow and standard rodeo activities, Whoopee Days will also feature raffles, a fireworks display, and a post-rodeo country dance.

The date of Family Night is June 26. Madison Health is sponsoring Whoopee Days’ Cancer Night on June 27. A raffle will be held at Cancer Night, and all winnings will go toward cancer care kits at the Cancer Care Center. Visitors are urged to dress in pink.

The country dance will then take place on Saturday after the fireworks display.

In 1929, Whoopee Days began as a way to prevent the Madison County Fairgrounds from closing. Makin Whoopee, an old song, is the source of its name.

The Madison Fairgrounds website allows customers to purchase tickets in advance.Every ticket purchased entitles the buyer to enter a giveaway and perhaps win a brand-new Ford pickup vehicle.
