“Elliott with 2 T’s is coming from Las Vegas, Nevada (and is) a professional dancer. I wanted to get somebody from TV that knows how to entertain,” said event organizer Jay Kilpatrick, also known as Miss Jay.
Kilpatrick is a local drag performer who has been entertaining for over 22 years. He said this show would be a safe place for the community to go for an after-pride party. Doors open at 8 p.m., and the show starts at 10 p.m.

“We keep it kid-friendly, especially for a Pride event. If you don’t want your kids to see it, then you just don’t go, but I have no problem with people bringing their kids along because I know how to be respectful,” Kilpatrick said.
If you’ve never been to a drag show, Kilpatrick said it’s a lot of performing, dancing, lip-syncing, and celebrity impersonations, along with comedy.
He says they strive to make everyone feel secure at the event.
“It makes a safe place for LGBTQ to feel like they are not alone. It just gives them a place to be who they are without having somebody say something really horrible to them if that makes sense,” Kilpatrick said.

“Drag Queen Bingo Brunch Pride Edition” will also be at the Bee’s Knees ballroom. It will be the next day, on Sunday, June 29. Doors open at 11 a.m. and bingo starts at noon. Elliott with 2 T’s will be performing at it as well. It costs $15.
Bee’s Knees will be catering both events, and there will be guest performers.
Kilpatrick invites people to come out, support local drag performers, and have a great experience.
